    Specialized experience: For the GS-15, You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service Specialized experience includes BOTH of the following:

    • Leading teams or groups performing analysis of the environmental impact of a development project; AND
    • Performing policy analysis in the fields of environmental impact assessment, social impact assessment, cost-benefit analysis of development projects, and environmental finance; AND

    at least ONE of the following:

    • Leading the drafting of recommendations on how to apply environmental or social risk mitigation hierarchies; OR
    • Demonstrated experience representing an organization in meetings and negotiations with senior and/or high level stakeholders.

    Education Requirements: Applicants for this position must meet the following BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

    A. Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university that met all of that institution's requirements for a bachelor's or higher degree with a major in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus. OR

    B. A combination of education and experience -courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
    - A one year probationary period may be required.
    - A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
    - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
    - If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
    - Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
    - Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.  Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
    - Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel, if necessary.
    - File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on, if necessary.
    - Undergo an income tax verification, if necessary.
