Talent Support Specialist, Lead

Key Role:

Lead and manage a team of internal talent mobility professionals that actively engage with internal staff to mobilize and deploy these staff to firm opportunities and maintain responsibility for the hiring, development, retention, and performance reviews of deployment specialists. Apply consultative and client service expertise to engage employees and provide suggestions based on their goals, interests, and experience to better position them for their next opportunity and ensure deployment services are provided in a fully engaged, pro-active, and empathetic approach. Ensure the team's consistent delivery of deployment services to cohorts of staff. Serve as the team's central POC with knowledge of talent status for assigned talent cohorts. Collaborate closely with talent mobility leads to define project opportunities by market, match talent to project opportunities, provide prioritized match summaries to hiring managers and job managers via Workday, and track and disposition matches. Oversee and actively monitor and balance workload and resource allocation of deployment specialists. Maintain responsibility for data management and data entry activities in support of deployment functions and provide comprehensive reporting on bench, available staff, and internal placement metrics as aligned to deployment targets and client satisfaction metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with internal staffing or deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development and working in the field of career mobility, either client-facing or in-house

-Experience with leading and developing high-performing teams

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including firm provisioned tools, such as Microsoft Teams and Web or video conference

-Ability to assess internal candidates, present them for deployment and placement, and identify and drive implementation of new or best practice deployment initiatives

-Ability to translate trends and metrics into tangible staffing plans and outcomes

-Ability to display a track record of effectively building and growing relationships with internal candidates and job managers and meeting or exceeding internal deployments or external hiring targets

-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience with internal staffing or deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with designing and implementing internal career mobility best practices

-Experience with pro-actively engaging internal mobility candidates and advocating for appropriate matching opportunities on behalf of candidates preferred

-Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies

-Ability to display a track record of action orientation leading to measurable outcomes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reports
