Business Systems Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a business systems analyst by analyzing complex business and user needs, documenting requirements, creating wireframes, and coordinating application development and BI or analytics development activities. Assist with functional testing, as needed. Contribute expertise in functional work to the management of client deliverables. Develop client-ready products, including decks, reports, and communications. Support problem management resolution by tracking trends and frequent client issues, identify problems, investigate causes, and determine solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for recurring processes and user training. Interface with the team and clients daily.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in a professional work environment

-3 years of experience with business systems analysis

-Experience with basic tenets of Agile, including writing and managing user stories, facilitating stand-up meetings, and managing backlog

-Knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)

-Ability to interface with software developers, product owners, and testers and create PowerPoint decks

-Ability to analyze and diagnose complex issues and recommend solutions to stakeholders and development teams

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with federal financial and budgeting systems

-Experience with relational databases and SQL

-Experience with BMC Remedy ITSM Suite

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

-Experience with HP Agile Manager and ALM

-Experience with business intelligence reporting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent writing skills

-Public Trust clearance
