  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • Incumbents must be able to work overtime as required and call-back and emergency overtime are regular requirements of these positions.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Makes visits to Supported Command sites to determine the actual nature of work requests and enters any clarifications into Maximo; 2) Meets with representatives of the shops and contracting office to review work in progress in their areas and identifies issues and concerns associated with the projects; 3) Reviews and validates the CIMU Condition Index (Cl) calculated by BUILDER and initiates inspections, as required, to update CI to reflect actual conditions; 5) Ensures that MAXIMO reflects an accurate CIMU/BOTH and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) inventory for assigned buildings and that the CIMU-RPIE relationships are established; 6) Manages and validates deficiency data from Facility Condition Assessments and recommends projects for the Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Maintenance Execution Plans (MEPs).     For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Participates in project turnover to ensure the Component Inventory Management Unit (CIMU) inventory is accurately updated for incorporation into Maximo at the completion of work; 2) Responsible for ensuring proper execution of the Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program (ICAP) and initiates inspections, as required, to update CI to reflect actual conditions; 3) The FMS screens, classifies, and submits requests for projects for facilities within their AOR; and 4) Assists and briefs Supported Commands on the Regional Engineer/ Public Works Department organizations and explains the process for requesting work, funding jobs, and related policies; 5) Aware of the status of all work occurring in their facilities and follows through on any items not being completed in a timely manner; 6) Monitors the emergency/service, recurring, minor/specific project, and contract expedites in assigned Supported Command's facilities and identifies when additional funds are required.     For the GS-11 education may be substituted for Specialized Experience as follows:

    Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
    or
    Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
    or
    Obtained an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
    or
    A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

    The salary range for this position at the GS-11 level is: $68,036.00 - $88,450.00, including locality pay.

    The salary range for this position at the GS-12 level is: $81,548.00 - $106,012.00, including locality pay.

    Recruitment incentives may be authorized to eligible new hires.

    A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.

    A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
