This is a bargaining unit position.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducts hazard analyses and risk assessments, prepare explosive site plans, prepare explosives safety deviation request; 2) Provide explosives safety training, develop and interpret explosives safety policies and criteria; 3) Briefs leadership on the potential hazards associated with DoD military munitions and other munitions in a variety of areas; 4) Guides the installation and tenant commands on the implementation and compliance of the explosives safety program; and 5) Conducts inspections and audits of the explosives safety program to ensure full compliance.
