Job Description:


Digital Media Producers ( DMPs ) will be required to plan, record, and edit productions of
school and community events, most frequently at T.C. Williams High School. Due to the
nature of creating content for the largest high school in the state, DMPs must have flexible
schedules that in extreme cases may involve preparing for and completing video shoots the
day they are requested. Depending on the nature of each individual project DMPs may be
expected to work autonomously or as part of a larger team.


Qualifications:

? Education: Current student or alumni of T.C. Williams High School
? Certificates & Licenses: None required.
? Experience: Job related experience in a school setting is required

Essential Functions:

  • Knowledge of video production workflow and organizational dynamics
  • Experience with creating and curating video and motion graphic content
  • Adept in use of production equipment (tripods, dollies, lights, microphones, etc.) both in studio and on location
  • Proficient with the following cameras:

Panasonic AG-AC30 & AG-AC90

Sony HXR-NX100

  • Strong storytelling and editing skills
  • Working use of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including (but not limited to):

Photoshop

Illustrator
Premiere
After Effects

  • Possess a sense of urgency and follow up skills
  • Extremely organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet very tight deadlines
  • Hours are limited to evenings and weekends
