  • Minimum Qualifications Requirements: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. All qualifications must be met by
    the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized Experience: Applicants must possess one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level or pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as: developing, evaluating, and installing protective systems and devices to ensure that sensitive and/or classified information, equipment, materials and resources are not compromised; conducting comprehensive surveys and analysis of operational functions to assess degrees of vulnerability and selecting and/or designing appropriate countermeasures to provide the necessary level of protection against compromise of technology transfer of classified and/or sensitive information; performing operational control and assessments of the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF); and managing a comprehensive Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Program.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
    NOTE: More than one selection may be made within 90 days of the issuance of the certificate, if additional vacancies occur.

    Promotion to the next highest grade level is neither guaranteed nor implied.

    Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
