Overview

The American Enterprise Institute, a leading nonprofit public policy research organization, seeks a full-time research assistant to work in our Russian Studies department.

 

This position will be responsible for providing research, writing, and editing support to scholars regarding Russian foreign and domestic policies, with an emphasis on economics, politics, and US-Russian relations. This position also entails research support for issues related to the European Union, populism, and Eastern and Western Europe. Other duties include developing and organizing conferences, panel discussions, and events; overseeing long-term projects; scheduling; and administrative support.

This position requires excellent writing, communication, and research skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in Russian and Eurasian studies and should be well organized and academically curious. Proficiency in Russian speaking, reading, and writing is required. Knowledge of STATA is a plus.
