Director of Digital Marketing CommunicationsJob DescriptionDirector of Digital Marketing Communications - CoStar CoStar is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing Communications for CoStar the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces.This role is responsible for developing and implementing CoStar's digital media and communications strategy. The position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing for CoStar and will be responsible for digital marketing programs, social media (paid and organic), business analytics, creative design and copywriting. Managing a group of 4, the Director of Digital Marketing Communications will develop a product based marketing services team and will have oversight of marketing outreach, thought leadership and public relations for CoStar. In this role, you would be responsible for digital marketing platforms, SEO and SEM, media planning, correspondence with social influencers and content providers, internal and external stakeholders on major B2B communications initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead targeted digital marketing programs for global campaignsCurate content (including video) and implement social media plans that showcase CoStar's value propositionDevelop and implement digital strategies for each business sectorOversee SEM and SEO for CoStarCollaborate with Corporate Marketing to create proactive outreach, media relations and communications roadmapsImplement a podcast strategy that establishes a strong media presence.Manage PR activities as they relate to CoStar and create thought leadership strategies to position executives and messaging across all channelsImplement highly effective and measurable media programs and manage social media tools and dashboardsWork with Corporate Marketing, and collaborate with the News team, to develop, launch and manage a monthly client newsletter and streamline regional efforts to create a strong consistent voiceWork with company spokespersons to develop thought leadership, story angles, and white papersDrive sales enablement for CoStar by creating training materials and processes that inspire and informRespond to rapidly-developing news opportunities that connect thought leadership with relevant news story-lines Job RequirementsAt least 8 years of experience in media relations and/or digital marketing functionsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.Must have a significant level of experience in corporate communications, media/public relations or journalism with an emphasis commercial real estate or technology.Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment with multiple internal decision makers and stakeholdersKnowledge of business analytics and marketing optimizationAbility to quickly gain organizational awareness, learn the business, history, culture and key players Critical, creative, and innovative thinker is a must Essential to have a positive, can-do attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
