    For GS-5: You must have one year of specialized experience which is defined as experience in assisting with analysis on teams conducting research on electricity issues.

    For GS-7: You must have one year of specialized experience which is defined as experience in applying electricity concepts, principles, and practices to the regulation of the electricity industry.

    **Each grade is listed at its full performance level.**

    Full performance GS-05 is the GS-05.

    Full performance GS-07 is the GS-07

    Education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience. 

    Education which may be substituted to meet the requirements for the GS-5 is 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

    Education which may be substituted to meet the requirements for the GS-7 is one full year of graduate level education or Superior Academic Achievement.
    Graduate Education is education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
    Superior Academic Achievement is based on class standing, grade-point average or membership in a scholastic national honor society.

    At time of appointment candidates must meet the qualification requirements.

    Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-seeking Economics program in an accredited college or university for summer or fall semester 2019.
