Data Analyst/Collection Manager

Key Role:
Provide data analysis of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) systems to support tactical, operational, and strategic decision-making. Analyze and evaluate data from multiple sources to identify potential performance issues and recommend strategy changes to optimize the effectiveness of enterprise systems. Gather meaningful patterns from historical information, including transforming large sets of data into actionables. Apply analytical and data mining techniques to develop new performance metrics, including measuring these results to determine potential issues.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience as a GEOINT collection manager or data analyst
-Experience with automating and streamlining processes
-Knowledge of querying data repositories using a user interface or query language
-Knowledge of the imagery tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) process and imagery requirements life cycle
-Ability to manipulate numerical data for analysis in Microsoft Excel, create visual aids and graphics used in presenting analytical briefings using Microsoft PowerPoint or Tableau, and use ArcGIS or other GISCOTs software for basic spatial analysis
-Ability to work independently
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with collection management, including analyzing current collection strategies and proposing recommendations for optimizing collection
-Experience with analyzing large sets of data using standard predictive and data mining techniques
-Experience with developing metrics
-Experience with the airborne and commercial imagery collection and requirements process
-Knowledge of GEOINT sources and their technical capabilities
-Knowledge of collection management tools, including GIMS, CRATE, and FishTools

-Experiance using Elasticsearch, Hadoop, and HIVE

-Knowledge of SQL or equivalent database language or how to apply scripting languages, including Python to extract data from a database
-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
