A copy of your current certifications is required at the time of application.
Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS); American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional; CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED); First Aid.
In addition, for facilities that use Oxygen Administration "O2 bottles" the O2 Administration certification (American Red Cross"Oxygen Administration or installation offered training (i.e. Fire Dept.) must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty.
APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL JUNE 28, 2018 OR UNTIL ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED. HOWEVER, THE FIRST CUT-OFF DATE FOR ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES WHO SUBMITTED ALL REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS WILL BE FEBRUARY 22, 2018, WITH SUBSEQUENT CUT-OFF DATES EVERY 2 WEEKS UNTIL ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED. ONCE SELECTIONS ARE MADE, THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE.
Applicants will be referred to selecting officials per bi-weekly cut-off date(s): 22 February; 8 and 22 March; 5 and 19 April; 3, 17 and 31 May, and 14 June. The final referral list will be issued on July 1, 2019.
