Upon appointment, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450. You will need to provide the information annually.
Selectee must submit to a drug test and receive negative test results before being appointed. After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.
You are applying under Delegated Examining and if selected under this authority, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period, even if you are a transfer from another federal agency.
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirements of the position within thirty (30) days of the closing date of this announcement.
The specialized experience required at each grade level is:
GS-9: Assisting with tasks that require experience in data collection and data quality control.
GS-11:Conducting tasks that require a thorough understanding of data collection and data quality control; analyzing data to determine specific problem areas arising within a data collection system or program operations; and recommending and implementing solutions to problems.
GS-12: Independently conducting tasks that require an in-depth understanding of data collection and quality control; analyzing data to determine complex problem areas arising within a data collection system or program operations; and recommending, implementing, and evaluating solutions to problems.
Evidence of the above specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held. GS-9: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-7 level OR a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
GS-11: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-9 level OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
GS-12: There is no substitution of education for this grade level.
