KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Help
maintenance service requirements in order to prepare quality assurance plans; 2) Applying contract administration procedures and regulations to assure contractor compliance with performance specifications for quality, timeliness, material, and methods as applicable; 3) Reading blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications.
FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1)Performing inspections/assessments in the areas of hazardous waste disposal, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, custodial, grounds and structural systems and subsystems, as well as renovation projects; 2) Developing quality assurance/performance assessment plans for specific contracts; 3) Monitoring contractors' adherence to safety measures, wage and hour laws, and labor relations; and 4) Developing cost analysis schedules and cost estimates for new solicitations or contract modifications.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Applicants may qualify with the following education in lieu of the specialized experience qualification:
GS-11: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR: Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR: Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR: Completed a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
GS-09: Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR: Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR: Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
OR: Completed a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
