Manages all protocol implementation for clinical trials, including but not limited to, preparation and submission of regulatory documents, patient screening and recruitment, informed consent, study enrollment, and participant follow-up.
Assess, implement, and manage recruitment and study activities. Interview and educate potential study volunteers and families. Act as liaison between recruitment sites and study staff. Conduct participant pre-screen calls and schedule participants for screening visit. Conduct informed consent process. Review medical records for basic inclusion/exclusion eligibility and assist in study enrollment.
Completes clinical study visits as required by protocol including laboratory test, vital sign measurement, health status assessment, administering and/or dispensing investigational drug/device agents as needed, case report form completion, source documentation, patient follow-up, query resolution, etc.
Provides communication to other departments, sponsor and co-investigators regarding new protocols and research study related activities as required. Participates in conferences, departmental meetings continuing education, investigator meetings, pre-site visits, site initiation, interim monitoring and closeout study visits as assigned.
Work Schedule:

• Registered Nurse
• Current Maryland License
• Work experience in clinical research trials
• CPR Certification
• Bachelors Degree in Science or Health Related Services
• Experience in cardiology, critical care preferred
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• ACRP/SOCRA certification preferred ( must complete certification within in 1 year of start date)
