Overview
The American Enterprise Institute seeks a full-time data analyst to work in the education policy department. The position’s primary responsibility is to provide analytic and research support for data-driven projects in both the higher education and K--12 policy areas, including manipulating, merging, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing large data sets. Other secondary duties will include coauthoring reports and writing short-form articles on newsworthy topics in education policy. This position requires excellent quantitative skills, as well as high writing, research, communication, and organization proficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of education policy. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while also working with minimal supervision are essential. A master’s degree in public policy, data analytics, or other quantitative methods field is preferred. We offer a stimulating and harmonious work environment and excellent benefits.
