Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a qualified clinical research associate/site monitor regionally based in South Africa to conduct site monitoring visits locally and in other African countries.

Job Responsibilities:

· Conducting site initiation visits, interim visits, and close-out visits; · Supporting site compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). · Writing reports, writing and giving PowerPoint presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in a health-related field with at least 8 years of clinical research experience and knowledge of ICH/GCP, FDA, and OHRP guidelines is required. · This position requires 80% travel.
Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and writing skills are essential. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel in Africa and other international locations.
