About The Career Opportunity

We are looking for an outgoing and detailed oriented individual with great communication and problem solving skills for our Senior Teller position located in Bowie, MD. The Senior Teller is responsible for providing prompt, professional helpful and courteous member service. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Teller in the general operation of the teller area and support of the teller team. The Senior Teller will also assist in the accurate completion of all branch audits and logs, handling member transactions and inquiries and managing the day-to-day operations of the teller line in the absence of the Head Teller.

The Senior Teller will work in a fast-paced environment and  acts as a service role model for the teller team demonstrating high-level listening and problem resolution skills while maintaining a service and sales culture within the teller team.

 

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Two (2) years cash handling and customer service experience in a financial institution or retail organization required. Six (6) months Teller experience in a financial institution required.  Ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals. Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate effectively. If designated as a bilingual position, must be able to pass a Spoken Language Assessment. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Professional. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, 10 key calculator, fax, copier, telephone, etc
