Job Description

WP BrandStudio, the branded content arm of The Washington Post, is looking for an employee to join our team on a project basis. We are a fast-growing team of editors and writers, designers, developers, program managers, social media strategists, and data analysts, with a focus on creating the most innovative, award-winning multi-media programs for Washington Post advertisers. Reporting to the WP BrandStudio's Operations team, this individual will track all data associated with our content programs, respond to requests for data from both pre- and post-sale teams and provide program management support for local business initiatives.  Our ideal candidate is a curious, organized and detail-oriented person with a background and interest in data analysis and program management.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is comfortable working in analytics platforms such as Omniture/Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Has interest and experience identifying trends in data and is capable of learning how to proactively recognize and recommend appropriate optimizations to realize campaign goals
  • Has the ability to learn new software and follow workflow protocol using various project management tools, content management systems and ad builders to accomplish complex tasks
  • Is flexible, resourceful and a dedicated hard worker
  • Has a proven track record juggling multiple tasks with both short- and long-term deadlines
  • Has a background and interest in digital media
  • Eager to learn in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring daily content program performance, and finding ways to optimize campaign details for optimal performance
  • Developing client-facing content metrics reports, recap decks and case studies
  • Assisting with the creation of program timelines and campaign kick-off decks
  • Working within the content management system to organize assets for publishing
  • Organizing and scheduling production meetings and recap meetings where applicable

Desired skills and experience:

  • Ability to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and templates
  • Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Omniture/Adobe Analytics/Wordpress experience is a plus

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to commute to the Washington Post headquarters in Washington, DC daily and be available to work for 30 hours per week (Monday through Friday) to be considered for this position
  • Candidates must have 1-2 years of relevant work experience to qualify
