Technical Quality Assurance Analyst
Leads the planning and implementation of onsite Quality Assurance (QA) efforts for a large CMMI-Dev v1.3 ML3 appraised software development program.
Essential Job Functions:
Plans and implements QA efforts for Navy Programs/Projects.
Regularly interfaces with DCS Senior Management, Defense Contracts Management Agency (DCMA), Government test and Systems Engineering and internal Program personnel.
Requires in-depth knowledge of Software Quality Assurance, System Engineering and Software Development processes and procedures.
Requires in-depth knowledge of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Description (DID) requirements.
Conducts Process and Product Quality Assurance Audits (PPQA) to assess compliance to contractual and organizational process requirements.
Provides advice and recommendations to the organization in areas of expertise.
Makes independent analyses and assessments decisions and provides guidance and recommendations related to key aspects of compliance to contractual and organizational process requirements.
Participates in Program/Project team meetings as required. Brief status of QA activities as required.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience is required.
Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance within 6-9 months of hire.
In-depth knowledge and experience with development and implementation of Quality Assurance plans and process.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Project Management, System Engineering, Software Development and Software Test processes and procedures.
In-depth knowledge and experience with CDRL and PID requirements.
In-depth knowledge and experience with conducting Quality Assurance Process and Work Product audits.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MS Office applications.
Experience with CMMI Dev v1.3 Maturity Level 3 Processes.
Participated in CMMI SCAMPI A appraisals.
