National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) located in Arlington, VA, seeks highly qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager, JSHS. This position is grant funded and is an on-site position.  This position will oversee the JSHS program in coordination with the NSTA Director of Army Educational Outreach Programs (AEOP) and the NSTA Director of Grants.  Serve as the primary contact for information dissemination and external inquiries to and from JSHS regional directors, AEOP Cooperative Agreement Manager and the Tri-Service contacts; conduct research on programs beneficial to JSHS and establish partnerships with like-minded organizations/programs; oversee the issuance of all the scholarships (regional and national) and awards for students and teachers, including support of the DoE Presidential Scholars Program; coordinate with all previously mentioned personnel to plan, oversee and execute the National JSHS event; support the outreach efforts to increase the number of participants by working with the NSTA AEOP team and the AEOP consortium partners. Travel will be required (estimated 10 trips per year). Other duties assigned by the NSTA Director of AEOP.  Bachelor’s degree, plus four to ten years related experience in management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
