Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.

This position is a testing designated position under the Drug-free Workplace Program.

Must be able to obtain access to NSA/U.S. Cyber Command facilities and networks through further security screening processes in order to accomplish assigned duties.

GS-14: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a substantive knowledge of computer science. Specialized experience in the following: Experience managing and operating systems environment. Experience designing new or standard industry modeling software and applications/models researching various data sources. Experience applying systems and operations research techniques to develop/design computer system or system software model systems. Experience leading personnel through the establishment of goals, objectives and work priorities. Experience reviewing and approving final work products and plans developed by subordinates to achieve desired results. Experience establishing clear guidelines, criteria and priorities to evaluate employee performance. Experience applying and supporting principles and requirement of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs.

Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:

Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree in operations research.

OR

Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree with at least 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must be a combination of statistics and mathematics that include differential and integral calculus.
