Primary Purpose

The business analyst will advise management on best outcomes for a business technology issues. It will also support colleagues from across the company to resolve business technology issues and put appropriate solutions in place.


    Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implementing solutions Recognize and understand business needs as they relate to a potential change or transformation
  • Communicate and liaise between the stakeholders and IT staff to ensure mutual understanding of requirements and functional specifications
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes involving technology solutions and development of optimization strategies, including gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Evaluate needs and determine feasibility based on business technology capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements with existing Emmes technology solutions Document and effectively communicate your efforts, insights, and recommendations, including conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings Manage projects to optimize usage of existing technology solutions, including development of project plans, identification of tasks, resource assignment, and successful change management Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements through user acceptance testing and measurement of key performance indicators Research and propose efficient and economical ways to improve business technology processes, efficiencies, and solutions Explain technical terms to non-technical teams Provide end-user support of various enterprise technology solutions Maintain solution library of approved technology solutions

    A bachelor’s degree in business or related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a business analyst Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Familiarity with Office 365 products Excellent communication and documentation skills, including technical writing Experience creating detailed assessments and giving presentations Experience leading and supporting projects
