Overview:

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is recruiting for a Flexi RN to work in our Community Health Department. Department/Position Overview: This position requires a Bachelor's level degree as an RN (BSN) and 3 years of Nursing experience. Position will be responsible for both individual and group education to promote core health improvement programs including smoking cessation, adult immunizations, heart health, cancer prevention and detection, and wise self-care. Current knowledge of regional preventive health issues, managed care health improvement initiatives, and a variety of health improvement strategies is required.

If candidate is not BSN prepared must be willing to sign an education agreement upon hire to complete BSN within 60 months of hire date, otherwise will not be considered. Experience in med/surg or public health nursing required. BLS required within 90 days of hire.
