Tier One Background InvestigationCandidates must have a graduate degree in public policy, public administration, economics, or a similar degree in a related field. Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative and research skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, to accurately interpret and analyze legislative proposals, and to work well under tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry or regulatory analysis, state and local finance, and the legislative process is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required; experience with SharePoint and Access (or other database systems) is desirable.
