Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is hiring a full time Compliance Coordinator in our Integrated Care Management Department.

Position Overview
  • Location: Office is in Virginia Beach.
    • Note: Current Sentara Integrated Care Management employees from other regions may not be required to relocate.
  • Performing workflow audits for Integrated Care Management across all Epic implemented hospitals.
    • Note: May require travel and on-site shadowing as part of the audit process.
  • Conducts clinical audits for compliance to Medicare and Medicaid guidance/regulations and DNV.
  • Provides support and oversight for essential administrative and clinical compliance activities related to federal and state reporting requirements, filing, and maintenance of compliance information/data, providing assistance and clinical expertise in internal audit activities, and providing support for any major compliance projects impacting transition planning/ICM hospital teams.
  • Performs utilization management audits and prepares quality improvement documents for regulatory audits and surveys.

BSN Required. Certification in Case Management (CCM, ACM RN-C) required. If not certified, certification must be completed within one year of hire.
