Acquisition Logistics Manager

Key Role:
Provide consulting support to a government product support manager and associated logistics functions for an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for a DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Prepare logistics strategies and DoD 5000 Series acquisition documentation for a future EHR health IT system and support sustainment of 11 products that make up the current legacy system. Assist with managing enterprise software licenses for military operational medicine systems. Write Life Cycle Sustainment and Supportability Plans for a legacy medical IT program and its future replacement and assist with staffing through PEO and OSD. Document how sustainment is applied, measured, managed, assessed, and reported after system fielding to meet readiness targets, sustain system performance capability threshold criteria, mitigating operating and support (O&S) costs, reducing the logistics footprint, and complying with environmental and other logistics-related statutes and regulations, as applicable. Assist with managing and developing Product Support Arrangements (PSAs) and product support packages required to deploy and maintain the system readiness and operational capability. Participate in a variety of product line and functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) I, II, or III Program Management Office (PMO) or Program Executive Office (PEO) that manages the acquisition of large, complex weapons systems or information systems projects requiring development, integration, implementation, training, and sustainment

-Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and managing enterprise-level projects

-Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate tasks with client supervisors in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Additional Desired Qualifications:

-Experience with the Military Health System
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

-DAWIA Level I, II, or III in Acquisition Life Cycle Logistics Certification

-Project Management Professional (PMP) or Supply Chain Certification
