Sparks Group has partnered with a growing IT Solutions firm to assist them in building up their team of Data Analysts. This role requires critical thinking, problem solving, curiosity and the ability to collaborate with a team or take on an individual project. Become a mid-level data analyst and help assess and investigate data to monitor and communicate insights. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Use predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to assist with identifying and exploring of internal and external data sources
  • Assist with building data sets by importing and converting data
  • Aid with identifying data quality anomalies, and identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure data and analytical quality

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Position requires advanced Microsoft Office skills 
  • Position requires proficiency with scripting in Python (and preferably Linux) and rapid prototyping
  • Position requires experience working with data in SQL DB
  • Position requires a minimum of a secret clearance 
  • Position prefers experience working with social media platforms
  • Position prefers knowledge of and experience working with tools like Tableau, R, SQL, or Solr
