i360 has an immediate opening for an Oracle Federal Financials R12.2.x Functional Budget to Report (B2R) / Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA) Subject Matter Expert to support our federal client. This project is currently on-boarding. Responsibilities: Provide requirement analysis, process review, configuration and development, documentation, and implementation services for production sustainment and system enhancements within an Oracle Federal Financial R12 environment Identify and document requirements working with users Identify processes, document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes Provide Oracle R12 configurations and documentation in multiple environments Provide designs and data mapping for interfaces, extensions, conversions, and reports Assist with test plans, provide testing documentation, and perform testing activities Assist with training sessions and documentation Provide input to planning and scheduling direction for project and release management Provide leadership and expertise to review and recommend improvements based upon “best practices” and R12 functionality for the following Budget-to-Report (B2R) business process flow areas and tasks: Budget Planning & Formulation Distribute Budget Manage Budget Manage Continuing Resolution Authority Reprogram and Rescind Funds Maintain the General Ledger Create and Post Journal Entries Prior Period Adjustments Reporting Month and Year End Closing Provide leadership and expertise to review existing account generators and rules and recommend improvements based upon “best practices” and R12 functionality for the Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) rules Develop Application Accounting Definitions (AAD), Journal Line Types (JLT), and Journal Line Definitions (JLD) to build proper accounting rules across all sub-ledgers Provide analysis and problem resolution to implement fixes to reported problems escalated from help desk team Provide updates to and validation of internal control documentation Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' functional experience in implementing Oracle R12 Federal Financial applications with emphasis on analysis, implementation and problem resolution Strong Oracle General Ledger and FedAdmin experience, including a working knowledge of accounting flow (Sub-ledger to General Ledger) Demonstrated prior experience of Federal Accounting practices (USSGL/GTAS/SFIS) Prior experience in Federal month-end and year-end closing processes, with ability to analyze and resolve issues Prior experience with Oracle R12 upgrades and conversions, including building SLAs for multiple modules (FV, PO, AP, AR, PA) Prior experience developing functional designs including interface and extension designs Prior experience designing and executing end-to-end integration testing Prior experience with GL conversion requirements and mapping Prior experience designing and implementing Federal Reports Hands on experience configuring the following Oracle R12 modules in a Federal environment: General Ledger Sub- Ledger Accounting Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem solving ability with prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests within the Oracle E-Business Suite Qualifications: Must have strong Oral and Written Communication skills Must have strong experience working within Teams Must have strong Client Support Skills with Flexible and open Responsiveness Must have Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop polished, professional documentation and other written materials Must have strong analytical, collaborative, organizational and problem solving skills Ability to extend a strong commitment to quality of solutions and services provided to client Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision with proactive problem-solving skills The selected candidate may be required to undergo a successful background check before starting the project Must hold a BS/BA degree in relevant discipline such as MIS, IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, and Finance Only Direct Hires (No recruiting or staffing firms submissions will be considered) US Citizenship or Green Card Primary Location: Bethesda, MD Hours on-site: M-F business hours All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or status within any other protected group. i360 is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability - provided by Dice Oracle R12 Federal Financials Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA), General Ledger (GL), Federal Administrator (FV), Federal Budget to Report(B2R), SLA Rules AAD JLT JLD Fedearl Functional
