Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate weekend CAREGivers to join our team in enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Duties include, but are not limited to:Companionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment remindersAssistance with grooming and bathingAssistance with toileting and incontinence issuesAlzheimer's care*No professional experience is required. All training is provided by Home Instead Senior Care.*CAREGivers must:Be able to care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectBe able to communicate with clients and families in a friendly and congenial mannerPass a criminal background check, MVA check and drug screenPossess a valid driver's license and current auto insuranceBe able and willing to lift 25 lbs.Be at least 21 years oldHave some experience caring for the eldery (personal or professional)Reside in either Harford or Cecil CountyPLEASE NOTE: This position is specific to weekend hours.
