  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
  • These positions require Security Clearance depending on the position that you are being selected for you may be required to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret Security Clearance, or Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) may be required. A tentative offer of employment may be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You may be subject to random testing.
  • Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing human resources advisory services in human resource functions (e.g., classification, recruitment, placement, labor/employee relations, or human resources development).

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

    This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

    Positions may or may not have a control point within bands.

    The pay band equivalencies are as follows:
    NH-III is equivalent to GS-12 - GS-13 / Basic Pay Range NH-III: $62,722 - $96,958
    General Schedule Basic Pay Range are as follow:
    GS-12 Basic Pay Range: $62,722 - $81,541
    GS-13 Basic Pay Range: $74,584 - $96, 958
    Pay will vary by General Schedule/Pay Band and geographic location.
