  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE - You must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on SSBI with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • DRUG TESTING -This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. You will agree to submit to urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. You are required to sign a DA Form 5019 form.
  • POLYGRAPH - You must be willing to take and successfully pass a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI/Poly).
  • TDY - Requires approximately 20% TDY (temporary business travel).
  • IAM LEVEL III CERTIFICATION - IAM Level III certification required within six months or less of entrance on duty.
  • KEY mission essential and employee will be required to report for duty, as necessary, in an emergency (regardless of holidays, weekends, nights and furloughs) or conditions such as weather in which non-essential personnel are not expected to report.
  • May require working weekends and holidays.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

    To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Planning, organizing, directing, and accomplishing studies, analysis, and evaluations of plans, programs, projects, networks, policies, and procedures; Developing tools, tactics and procedures (TTPs) to detect, track, and mitigate threats; Ensuring a continuing application of, and compliance with, applicable laws, regulations and policies governing prohibited personnel policies; promptly addresses allegations of prohibited discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

    Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:Required Competencies:

To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
