I have at least 3 years of generalized experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4 grade level in Federal service (experience may have been gained in the military or private sector). Generalized experience at this level is demonstrated by the following: Web Site management and computer skills to include Microsoft word, excel, and power point; and skill in complex problem solving methods and written and oral communications; and preparing project papers and reports and skill in organizing and delivering briefings to managers.

Substitution of education may be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

If substituting education for experience at the GS-05 level, you must possess a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
If substituting or combining education for experience, transcripts MUST be provided. Failure to provide transcripts
