  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • This position requires to work (Mission Essential) regardless of weather coditions, Terrorist Force Protection Condition (TFPCON) or Installation closure and to report to the duty station at the regularly schedule time.
  • Some travel may be required approximately 15% of the time.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.     I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience writing plans and operations plans and analysis to develop courses of action that will be executed and managing a variety complex programs (such as Emergency Management, Operations Security, Inspection Program); interacting with high ranking managers and supervisors for coordination matters (such as contingency plans, current events, as well as security operations).

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
