Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Technical Trainer to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC locations. The Technical Trainer will primarily be responsible for providing classroom and remote training to client's customers on SharePoint and Office 365.

Responsibilities
• Provide Tier 2 one-on-one customer support and assistance to customers via ticket Incidents and Requests as assigned by the Customer Support Center Analysts
• Identify opportunities to adopt customizable off-the-shelf courseware, enhance existing training and create new synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
• Plan and implement training in conjunction with the client's new application deployments and upgrades
• Stay abreast of current trends in training, technology and applications, and make recommendations to improve training programs as appropriate
• Apply Adult Learning Theories and instructional systems design to courseware design, development, and delivery for individual Business Units
• Maintain an active training class schedule
• Prepare department-wide training announcements outlining curriculum
• Submit multimedia communication and PDF of manuals for print
• Demonstrate basic project management of instructional process
• Assist the Help Desk with SharePoint or O365 questions
• Resolve Help Desk Tickets assigned in regards to SharePoint or O365 end user support
• Assist with other training projects as necessary

Required Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree
• 1 to 3 years of overall experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of training methods and best practices for user training on application software
• Thorough understanding of training techniques on SharePoint and Office 365
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Learning
