DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - CONSTRUCTION Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in Texas. Total compensation is in the $150,000 - $200,000 range plus incentives, depending on experience, but may be more for candidates with exceptional experience and a successful history of performance. ** Must have IT experience working in construction industry with general contractor or subcontractor Reasons You'll Love Working for This Company * One of Texas' premier electrical contractors * Our client focuses on a work life balance, where they're always striving to provide better opportunities for their employees and their families * Family-owned company that takes a hands-on approach, while allowing their employees to make key decisions * Over 30 years of electrical construction experience Duties & Responsibilities * Identify IT and related deficiencies, develop strategies, and implement/manage solutions * Establish standardized processes and key operational metrics based upon ITIL to effectively manage the performance of the Operations organization * Design, manage, upgrade, and deploy standardized hardware and software images and configurations for the end-user computing environment in alignment with business requirement * Responsible for overall data integrity and direction of technology infrastructure * Establish and implement departmental goals, policies, and SOPs * computer operations and production support, systems and database administration, and network operations * Establish and manage compliance with necessary IT policies and procedures for the smooth operations and recovery of the computing environment * Develop a Disaster Recovery strategy plan for systems and infrastructure * Review reports from the systems to identify trends within the IT environments that require attention Skills & Requirements * Must have IT experience working in construction industry with general contractor or subcontractor * 10+ years of proven success of increasing responsibility in an IT leadership role * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field * Must have knowledge and high-level skills in identifying IT and related deficiencies and must have strong experience with implementing and managing solutions * Must have knowledge of IT disciplines, including large-scale project management, cloud technologies, enterprise and data architecture, strategic planning, system development, software acquisition, computer operations management, end user computing, contract management and asset management * Must have 5+ years' experience designing and administering IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtual server technologies, cloud, DHCP/DNS, MS Azure, MS Exchange Information, SAN/NAS Storage * Must demonstrate the business and financial acumen necessary to develop and present data-based ideas and solutions * A track record of successfully implementing IT strategies at an enterprise level, including the selection, implementation, operation and maintenance of large-scale systems over multiple hardware and software platforms Please forward your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume] for immediate consideration, or call (727) 258-0285 for more information.
