Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD. Roles and Responsibilities: This position is for a System Engineer to support a Government System Engineering Lead. The primary role for this position is to provide system engineering support for integrating, deploying, upgrading, and monitoring a fielded capability. Support tactical engineering activities to accomplish spin goals to include participating in design meetings and technical review meetings; developing technical plans to guide capability development; preparing test plans and procedures; executing thread testing and writing test reports; reporting status of capability development activities; and reporting thread goals and results Work with a team of Integrators, Testers, and Network Engineers to meet criteria for each Spin Writing technical documentation. The documentation will include but not be limited to: technical management plans, requirements documents, test documents, deployment documents, and technical briefings Liaise with customer to provide daily updates on progress of Spin goals Coordinate the health & status and metrics monitoring of deployed systems MSCYBERMD Basic Qualifications: Twelve years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include experience in system architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation, and process execution and evaluation Experience in full system life cycle from concept development through testing and deployment The candidate must have demonstrated ability to write system engineering documentation and be able to deliver technical presentation to large audiences The candidate must be results-oriented, self-motivated and an effective communicator The candidate must have working experience with MS Office products Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of MD Agency Cyber mission systems Knowledge of DNI technologies and protocols Experience in integrating systems into a system of systems General knowledge of XML technologies Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
