Dogwood Management Partners, an SDVOSB, is seeking a well-qualified individual for a Linux Systems Engineer opening we have in Alexandria, VA. This role is under a government contract and is an immediate need. This is a full-time and permanent position offering a competitive salary, plus benefits. This opportunity is not available for remote. Due to the secure nature of this government contract, only US Citizens with an Active DOD Secret Clearance can be considered. Position Overview: The Candidate will be working on a project that will require the use of six servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and we are looking for someone who has the ability to do the following: Deploy servers in a virtual environment Ensure deployed servers have meet DOD STIG guidelines Assist with the deployment of applications to RHEL Maintain the servers at a secure level (based on weekly scans) Patch servers when vulnerabilities are detected and with security patches when released Document configurations Required Qualifications: Active DoD Secret Clearance IAT Level II Certification or higher which includes the following (only need one): CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE or SSCP Within your email response or in a separate attachment, please provide a few bullet points that briefly state your applicable years of experience from the requirements section above as well as any other information that you feel may be pertinent to the responsibilities of this key role.
