Job Description:Leidosis actively hiring a Senior Intelligence Policy Analyst to join our team inArlington, VA.JOBSUMMARY: TheLeidos Defense and Intelligence Group is looking for an experienced SeniorIntelligence Policy Analyst to support the Office of the Undersecretary ofDefense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)) at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The Policy team provides policy management,analysis, development, coordination and review of intelligence, counterintelligenceand security issuances to ensure conformance with the prioritiesof the Secretary of Defense and, as appropriate, the Director of NationalIntelligence (DNI).PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES: - Providepolicy expertise and technical support to OUSD(I) management. - Providebriefings, staff packages, decision papers, information papers and written andverbal policy status updates regarding assigned policies.- Reviewand analyze policy for technical and administrative sufficiency in accordancewith standards.- AssistOUSD(I) action officers and staff to develop policy in accordance with USD(I)chartered responsibilities, statute, Executive Orders and DoD and DNI policy.- Developand submit electronic and hard copy staff packages for review and signature atthe SES level- Reportthe status of assigned policy actions to the Director, Intelligence Policy.- Trainand advise OUSD(I) action officers on DoD policy process requirements asestablished in DoDI.Supervisethe Executive Policy Support Assistant.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience.- Minimum of 10 years civilian or military management experience in DoD, to include 3 years of management experience in intelligence and security program or policy development in OSD, the Joint Staff, or a combatant command staff.- Working knowledge of the organization and functions of the DoD and expert knowledge of OUSD(I) organization, functions, and policy development and coordination procedures are required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- 10 years of policy experience in OUSD(I).- Master's degree in a relevant field of study.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Experience working and coordinating with senior leadership in DoD.
