Responsibilities Collect and collate data from various sources regarding status of availability planning efforts including SCD, SID, ILS material, and funding to support availability planning and execution meetings and briefings. Data sources should include, but not be limited to the following databases: NDE, Hull Management System (HMS), and NDE-SPAWAR Integrated Data Environment (SIDE). Review changes to maintenance and modernization work package scope (range and depth), and availability schedule changes. Provide the following: (a) risk assessment of each SCD installation; (b) identify impacts to the availability execution plan; and (c) recommendations for corrective action. Provide technical expertise to support the ship modernization process and recommendations for process improvements as applicable. Attend and accompany PMS 407 personnel to availability planning meetings and teleconferences (eg Work Package Integration Reviews (WPIRs), Maintenance Availability Duration Working Group (MADWG), NDE and Fleet Modernization Program Management Information System (FMPMIS) reconciliation and availability planning meetings, and other meetings as approved. Provide research support of NDE, SPAWAR Installation Database (IDB), and other PARM Fielding plans, and assist in optimizing planned modernization work packages for each availability. Review schedules, installation strategies, material support plans, and provide risk assessments and proposed resolutions as required. Using NDE, provide status updates for, analyses of, and recommendations about technical and programmatic issues with the Modernization Programs in each surface combatant ship class. Assemble data provided by RMCs, NSAs, ships, shipyards, PYs, and other waterfront sources. Create executive summaries, charts, graphs, and other products that convey ship availability status, execution status, and updates to issue resolutions. Provide technical and management support to resolve planning, design, material, or other issues for ships in availabilities. Support End of Availability actions, including but not limited to, work package closure activities, and message preparation. Provide support necessary to document progress in Availability Work Package (AWP) planning (ie review milestone status, record SCD churn, prepare ad hoc reports, update databases and prepare draft correspondence necessary to reconcile changes with previous availability plans). Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Candidate must meet the following requirements: A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience Experience in project management Computer literate and high proficiency in Microsoft applications One must have good computer skills, written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. US Citizenship required. PI107014054
