Our client is currently seeking a Sr Business Project Manager MUST BE EITHER A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDERThe Client is building a Data Base Center of Excellence. They had Accenture in a year ago to do a Data Transformation. The manager reports directly to the Chief Data Officer and was tasked to build the COE. He wants the Sr PM to have Big Data exp. They are using Micro Strategy and Tableau. Bus. PM will work building out the Data Phases ( Revenu Data, Customer Data, Digital Marketing, HR Data). He will work directly with the Technical PM and IT team as well. Sr. Business Project Manager McLean, VA 22102 Setting up Data Base Phases ( Revenue Data base, Customer Data, Digital Marketing Data, HR Data) Drive the E2E Technical Project Management. Activities include: * Manage multiple concurrent projects. * Lead collaborated planning, requirements, architecture & design reviews across multiple teams to create user stories, acceptance criteria and agreed-upon milestones/timelines. Ensure work flows meet security, risk and compliance requirements. * Ensure projects are conducted using quality principles and appropriate development methodologies. * Ensure adherence and adoption of standard Methods and Procedures are in place. * Provide direction for issue resolution, risk management and contingency planning. * Communicate proactively with leadership regarding status and resolution of escalated issues accordingly. Prepare PowerPoint slides and deep dive decks, as needed. * Maintain effective stakeholder management. * Provide subject matter expertise across multiple large-scale, highly complex initiatives. * Communicate with business partners and customers on technical and non-technical matters. * Perform continuous process improvement to all PMO support and technical project management activities. * Manage resources, capacity, and work collaboratively with platform architecture, development, testing, operations teams to define solutions for complex code, implementation and/ or production issues. * Manage team's workloads, assign right priorities and ensure business deliverable is implemented on time. * Motivate, coach and train staff to maximize productivity and promote their professional development, staff vacancies based on headcount and diversity targets, set employee performance objectives and manage employee performance, salary planning and administration. * Manage professional growth of team members.
