Job Description: Apex Systems is looking for a senior-level systems engineer with a strong background in managing infrastructure systems and processes. The ideal candidate will serve as Deputy to and under the direction of the OBIM Infrastructure Team Lead/Manager, overseeing OBIM enterprise infrastructure, managed services, and processes to include daily administration, planning, installation, and operations and maintenance support of all systems resident in the client's enterprise environments. Required Skills / Qualifications: US Citizenship DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS Final Suitability BS or equivalent + 9 yrs. related experience, or MS + 7 yrs. related experience IT systems engineering experience with multiple operating systems (ie, AIX, RHEL, SUSE, & Windows) Experience leading resources in an enterprise environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability to changing priorities Willingness and initiative to learn Demonstrated experience and skills in effective planning, teamwork and collaboration, and resource management Exceptional personnel leadership and motivational skills Desired Skills / Qualifications: Degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, or other relevant technical field of study MS and/or 15+ yrs. of related experience Broad technical skill-set Demonstrated initiative to innovate and improve value of delivered services Strong understanding of large-scale DevOps Implementation experience with automation solutions across a variety of applications and systems Ability to use data to measure success along with taking responsibility for the quality of services delivered An understanding that different people have different needs to be productive EEO Employer Apex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
