Areas of focus include marketing supplier offerings, developing and sharing customer-facing communications, writing and producing newsletters and other content. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, organizational/project management skills, an eye for design and is tech savvy. Position Reports toDirector of Customer and Supplier Marketing Primary Responsibilities Assist with the development of strategies, process improvements and execution of supplier marketing efforts, including: implement communication approaches that generate awareness, increase understanding and improve usage of the products and services of Avendra-contracted suppliers. Collaborate directly with suppliers as well as with internal audiences. Support the development and distribution of a wide range of digital and traditional marketing communications (eg expertise content, newsletters, emails, webpages, direct mail campaigns, videos, events, webinars, etc.) to maximize customer engagement and retention. Be a "content generator" to help support Avendra's objectives of delivering high-quality content to its key audiences that helps inform, educate and drive action. Take complex ideas and communicate them in a simple and elegant manner to a defined audience across a wide range of vehicles in long and short form - ensuring content and presentation are accurate and error free. Work collaboratively with other GPOs/PSPs and internal stakeholders to help enhance and streamline relevant content creation and sharing. Be the lead marketing resource to support Account Management in enhancing and finalizing customer-facing presentations and proposals (eg business reviews, renewals, RFPs). Includes developing and maintaining a process to manage content development, reviewing/editing PPT slides, keeping templates up-to-date, ensuring materials reflect appropriate brand/other standards, proofing materials, etc. Support myAvendra technical enhancements and fixes by testing and communicating changes to key stakeholders and users. Undertake basic design projects and manage outsourced graphic designers to help fulfill design needs. Secondary Responsibilities Leverage technology solutions to deliver communication results: Content Management System (CMS), Email Service Provider/Marketing Automation solution, CRM/eRM solution, Marketing Analytics solution, Cognos reports, etc. Support pertinent customer communications efforts (eg Customer Advisories) in an on-call/after-hours manner Suggest new ideas that improve the marketing/communications area or address broader business objectives Primary Competencies Functional/Technical Skills Problem Solving & Analytical Skills Quality & Continuous Improvement Effective Written and Oral Communications Other Duties. Qualifications: Role Requirements Excellent writing and editing skills across a wide range of communication vehicles Proficient use of MS Office Suite Ability to think creatively, find new solutions; some design experience Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work with a wide range of audiences in a professional manner Overnight Travel Requirements.
