Position Summary The primary function of this position is to develop business relationships and to sell HVAC Control service agreements for Building Automation products to new customers. This includes but is not limited to prospecting customers, qualifying potential opportunities, estimating the work and positioning the proposal in a way that provide the highest probability of success. This is an outside sales position with a tremendous opportunity for a true "hunter" who enjoys finding and winning new customers. What you'll do: Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of HVAC Controls and Building Automation System service agreements by scheduling sales calls, following up of leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings. Actively prospecting for new sales opportunities and pursuing leads generated from direct marketing initiatives and commercial maintenance referral programs. Develop commercial maintenance agreement proposals by understanding the customer's needs. This will include site surveys of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance recommendations, cost/benefit analyses and program pricing. Qualifies opportunities by primarily looking for owner occupied buildings or high service demanding building opportunities. Demonstrating company core values of integrity, stewardship, operational excellence, customer centric , teamwork, people development, and innovation at all times. Responsible for setting meetings with new customers weekly (8-10 per week). What you'll need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred or 5 equivalent professional experience. Professional sales training is preferred Three to Five years of B2B/commercial sales experience in a construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related business selling service agreements along with a proven successful record of accomplishment Experience cold calling for new prospects is required and sufficient skills in this area are a must Ability to review mechanical systems and equipment along with interpreting schematics and drawings Ability to close sales and to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment as part of a high-performance sales team Envise is a wholly owned subsidiary of Southland Industries (www.southlandind.com).
