Overview Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for Recruiter for our Baltimore branch. Responsibilities The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, coordinating diversity recruiting efforts, researching, interviewing, screening, and referring job candidates for job openings. Confer with Human Resources to identify personnel needs. Facilitate job postings and advertisements. Maintain communication with hiring managers, HR and candidates. Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. Coordinate the administration of diversity recruiting efforts. Initiate contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings. Review and screen applications in the ATS to move through to hiring managers. Follow up with candidates if additional information is needed. Help Marketing Department develop recruitment materials about the organization and its opportunities to promote employer brand. Create spreadsheets/tools to manage recruiting data and diversity initiatives. Coordinate, set up displays, and work at job fairs. Develop and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants. Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities. Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates. Provide information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants. Manage solicitations for sponsorship of diversity events. File and maintain employment records for future reference. Perform various other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in high volume recruiting. Professional Human Resources training and/or education preferred. Experience with diversity recruiting initiatives and Affirmative Action Plans preferred. Must have knowledge of employment law, and understanding of employer branding. Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize workload and work with time constraints. Must have strong interviewing skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a creative thinker and have the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Must be results driven, with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
