Job Description The MuleSoft developer will work with technical teams to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the MuleSoft platform. This is a client facing role that will have responsibility for capturing and documenting requirements and specifications for custom components and interfaces, designing solutions in accordance to best practices, and working with the customer throughout the implementation of the MuleSoft solution. The individual will also be responsible for providing technical leadership, solution architecture and interacting to correctly advise on solution scope. Roles & Responsibilities Work with client management, customer subject matter experts (SMEs) and or information technology personnel to complete Mulesoft implementation tasks, as required Provide project and technical leadership for Mulesoft implementation projects Represents the project as a Mulesoft Developer expert who influences customer management on significant Mulesoft matters Possess a strong understanding of business operations and how Mulesoft helps to enhance operations Advise on a variety of broad questions and concerns from customer management regarding project requirements, documents needs, technical standards, and conditions communicate the status of requests and determines the feasibility of projects documents findings and actions Work under general direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions The Mulesoft developer is responsible for controlling the adaptability of all the APIs and their integration The developer is expected to prepare test data, plan and conduct module testing. Create technical documentation throughout the development and test cycles Keep a constant check on the system developed and user satisfaction. This may be executed with the help of architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, etc. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent experience 3+ years of technology experience in a small, medium or large organization Experience using agile development methodology to conceptualize and deliver software Development experience on three or more major Mulesoft projects from discovery to go-live Proven experience taking highly conceptual business need and translate into a solution that can be effectively implemented Demonstrated ability to capture business requirements, translate those requirements to technical/business solution options, and be able to communicate those effectively back to the customer, both from a technical aspect and from a business aspect Experience with product development life cycle and software testing, which includes devising unit test plans, creating unit test cases, establishing unit testing protocols and appropriate testing environments, coordinate and execute software testing Proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, issues, concepts and solutions to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and the business Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns and Problem solving abilities wrt Message Sequencing, Correlation, Queuing Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms Senior level Java development experience is a must Experience with SOAP and REST a must Sound knowledge of APIs, API management, SWAGGER, RAML Implementation experience with Mule API management portal Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings. Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming Good knowledge of SOA architecture and fluency in web service standards such as WSSE and technologies (JSON,XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST) is a must Strong understanding of relational databases; experience working with different adaptors and JMS queues required Experience with large implementation of framework-based J2EE solutions is preferred Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution Odata connector/ mule gateway experience Mule Runtime 4.x is desired and preferred Cloudhub and design center experience is must Have expertise in large distributed systems, legacy experience is considered an asset Background in agile and waterfall methodologies Strong oral and written communication skills Strong teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications MuleSoft Certified Developer - provided by Dice Mulesoft, ESB, API, Problem Solving, SOAP and REST, RAMI, JSON, XML, Cloudhub, Odata
