We are seeking an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in designing, specifying and programming industrial control and monitoring systems used in Industrial Control and SCADA applications. The I&C Engineer will work in support of developing control systems used in stand-alone facilities as well as wide area networked systems. Specific responsibilities for the successful candidate include: Developing written control narratives. Writing specifications for control system hardware. Developing input/output lists. Industrial network topology. Preparing control system design drawings such as P&IDs, electrical control diagrams, network diagramsAssociated electrical and mechanical design details in support of control system hardware. Inspecting, testing and commissioning control and communications systems in industrial environments. Coordinating and reviewing construction submittals and requests for information with Control System Integrators. Applicant should be proficient and skilled in multiple aspects of design, programming and commissioning industrial control systems with minimum of 3 years' experience in: AutoCAD, Microstation or similar computer drafting software. Design and programming Allen-Bradly, Modicon and other PLC based control systems. Programming HMI graphical interface programming applications. Setting up and configuring local area networks and Ethernet control systems. Reading and understanding wiring schematics and loop diagrams. Experience with field inspections, testing procedures and commissioning control systems. Excellent written communications skills. Cyber-Security practices. The I&C Engineer will need to be able to travel occasionally to local area construction sites. Work on site include perform field investigations and witness Factory and Site acceptance testing. Work in outdoors and industrial environments is required in all weather conditions. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering or equivalent professional work experience required. US Citizenship required.
