  • BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION:
    A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

    LICENSURE:
    Applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    In addition to the above, in order to meet the Minimum Qualifications for a Supervisory Pharmacist (QA), GS-660 position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of professional pharmacy experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: leading and/or mentoring other pharmacists; conducting audits and evaluations to prevent production defects; analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system; monitoring active investigational studies to ensure policies concerning use of investigational drugs are being followed; providing drug information to physicians, nurses and patients on investigational drugs.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
