The Jr. System Administrator will be responsible for providing system, network, and security consulting services. What you'll be doing (duties of this position): Position will involve support for Windows servers and the operating systems software and successful integration with the hardware and applications software across the organization. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, security hardening and maintenance of servers. Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network. Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment. Provide guidance and technical assistance as needed. Maintain and update documentation on the operating systems configuration. Manage software life cycles. What you'll need to be considered (requirements): Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. At least 6 years of technical experience. Experience in either Veeam or Net Backup 7 is preferred. Knowledge of VMware is a plus Must have interim DOD Secret security clearance.
