Admin/Accounting Temp:Responsible for supporting the accounting department with Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable tasks as assigned by the manager. He/she will work with amounts due, verification of invoices, reconciling of accounts and documentation of transactions, etc.Maintenance of the general ledger for AR updates and reconciliationsPost and check AR accounts in accounting systemsReview orders and contacts customers regarding credit line availability for product distribution, and establish payment dates and amountsApply customer payments, notify customers of AR accounts outstanding balances, and negotiate collection of payment if neededReview of order discrepancies with AR account holds, contact customer and formulate reconcilementCreate new customer documents and records, and maintain up-to-date AR filesPrepares various accounting statements and financial reports, prepare and formulate cash receipt reportReconciling invoice and statements and mail corrections/amendmentsBalancing, reconciling and closing the general ledgerMaintain communication with appropriate departments within the organization and consult on relevant issuesSystems experience in Deltek Costpoint billing and billing setup functions a plus.
